Our Heritage
Marketing Parrot is the culmination of decades of hands-on work across marketing, media, and events. At its core is experience built in motion: during the years when The Best of Global Digital Marketing roadshow was actively touring, we organised and hosted events across Europe, Asia, Africa, and beyond (see map above) — bringing global thinking on digital marketing to local audiences.
Along the way, we helped lay the foundation for the Baltics’ largest advertising festival (BalticBest), organised hundreds of domestic events, wrote books and articles, explored leading trade shows and expos across continents, consulted brands and organisations, and founded Estonia’s largest marketing portal, Best Marketing.
Marketing Parrot brings all of this together today — shaped by journalism, event production, and creative work, combined into a single, focused platform.

Spark annual traditions with bespoke B2B events
Back in the day of Best of Global Digital Marketing, we used to struggle with tracking down decent B2B case studies because either the work is not published or it’s done in an unbelievably vague manner. The scope of content has been incredibly thin.
After writing two books on award winning digital marketing case studies, we have also grown tired of the glossy bubble of “creative b2c advertising”, where compared to the humongous budgets and the huge grin on the creative director – the numbers are often lacking. Finally, the world is not driven by chocolate bars, it's driven by powerful batteries and smart factories.
As noted in a recent manifest by the LinkedIn B2B Institute, business-to-business is no longer the underdog. In fact, quite the opposite: global economics are driven by B2B brands. The age old cliche of a “boring older brother’” is also quickly wearing off as marked by the recent changes at Cannes Lions.

Founder of Marketing Parrot
Hando has 25+ years of experience in media and marketing. He is the founder of Best Marketing, the biggest Estonian marketing portal and event organiser, and the new B2B content hub Marketing Parrot.
He works as a business journalist for the biggest Nordic B2B media company Bonnier (Äripäev in Estonia), organises business conferences, and trains business people on content marketing. Hando is also the mastermind behind BalticBest - the biggest advertising awards in the Baltics.
Coming from a digitally savvy nation like Estonia (the leading country in digital innovation), Hando is passionate about discovering and sharing exciting opportunities digital has to offer for B2B. His background in B2B combined with hands-on experience as an advertising agency executive has provided for a fact-based approach. Hando will (de)construct everything you thought you knew about B2B marketing and force you to step into your customer’s shoes.

Based on extensive daily research and personal experience with B2B clients, Hando has learned to effortlessly navigate on these often very complex roads. He combines B2B with his in-depth knowledge in digital and content marketing, borrows interesting ideas from the B2C sector and is a strong believer in no-bullshit practices.
